Mac OS 9 Setup

  1. Click on the Apple Menu.
  2. Go to "Control Panels".
  3. Click on "TCP/IP".
  4. In the "Connect Via:" box, select "PPP".
  5. In the "Configure Via:" box, select "Using PPP Server".
  6. In the "Name Server Addresses" box, type in the DNS servers:
    66.185.224.15
    66.185.224.16
  7. Close the TCP/IP window and SAVE the changes.
  8. Click on the Apple Menu.
  9. Go to "Control Panels".
  10. Click on "Remote Access".
  11. Select "Registered User".
  12. Type your <user name> in the "Name:" box.
  13. If you want your computer to save your password so that you don't have to type it each time, put a check in the box labeled "Save password" and type your <password> in the "Password:" box.
  14. In the "Telephone Number:" box, type the local <modem number> for your area.
    The correct number for your locale can be found on our web site under Access Numbers.
  15. Click the "Options..." button.
  16. Click on the "Protocol" tab at the top.
  17. Check the first box (labeled "Connect automatically...")
  18. Click OK.
  19. Close the "Remote Access" window and SAVE the changes.
